Baby Boom: Sweet Baby Boy Edition

I’m so excited for these pictures, because you may know how much I loooooooove little newborns!! Let me introduce you to this beautiful little guy. He was a perfect angel for our whole time together. He didn’t cry, he remained calm, and he only peed once when we had his diaper off. Which, for the record, I always feel guilt about because it creates laundry for new parents….sorry. :)

I just love this little one!! All of his features are perfect. And I know he’s only a few weeks old, but you can tell he’s gentle natured and going to turn out to be one little heartbreaker (okay I decided that, but I’m usually right).

I know his parents have been having a major lack of sleep, but the excessive love and patience they have for him his obvious. They handle it with stride and are a wonderful little family. Here are some of my favorite pictures from our day together. I hope these make you smile too!

Love In A Used Bookstore

One day James and I were out taking pictures in Hollywood. We stopped in this little used bookstore. I’m not a big reader, but that doesn’t make books any less pretty. They are quite the backdrop.

I’m thinking I need to do a shoot in a used bookstore. Who will be my glorious copule?? Are you engaged? Just in love? Just like to be in pictures?? Who will it be?? I can’t wait to find out!!!

New Blog, Yay Me!!

Did you notice did you notice???? I have a beautiful blog!! It got an amazing makeover, FINALLY!! I found just the right person to do it, and I feel so blessed that I came across her! Melissa at Jelly Design Studio did such a fantastic job on my blog. I couldn’t be more grateful.

So happy to have collaborated with her and am totally glad to recommend her. She has my seal of approval (and I’m not an easy sale!! Well I am when it comes to food or shopping, but not when it comes to design). Anyways…

Senior Awesomeness

Seriously, my new favorite sessions are senior sessions!! How much fun we had together, and how many amazing shots of this beautiful girl there were!!

Kaitlyn’s mom was less than thrilled with her original portraits that were done by the high school. She said Kaitlyn didn’t look like herself. After spending an awesome afternoon with her, I totally see why the studio portraits didn’t work for her. The thing is, not everyone can get in front of a camera and produce a natural smile, on cue. This is an obviously gorgeous gal, but you have to get her feeling comfortable to produce the best results.

As you can probably see in these pictures, she was comfortable and she rocked it!! I love love love these pictures of her. She’s smiling or laughing in every one of them. She looks happy, just the way it should be.

Can’t wait to do lots more of these amazingly fun senior peeps!

Smiling Over #2

I was super excited to meet this little family. They have one awesome and smart (and obviously super cute) little guy, and are expecting another. I always enjoy these family maternity sessions. I work really hard to always make our days together fun for my families, so they can add one more day of happy memories to the list, when there was only three of them.

This mom to be was seriously looking fan-tas-tic!!!! Her husband sweetly pointed out that she’s done some modeling in her past. And it showed because she knew how to rock the camera.

I’m adding her to my list of super hot preggos. These ladies…I’m telling ya. Their husbands have lots to smile about. :)

So this family is really sweet and happy together. It’s clear that adding one more to the mix will only bring more joy to an already lovely world! Looking forward to seeing them again and meeting their new little guy!
